Protecting Ourselves From the Next Peaceful Massacre

A few weeks before Syed Farook went on his ritual killing spree in San Bernardino, he got into an argument about Islam with one of the co-workers he later murdered.

The co-worker said that Islam wasn't peaceful. Farook said it was.

Like most Islamic theological arguments, this was one was settled with bombs and bullets.

The motive is officially still unknown. Obama said it might be terrorism or a workplace thing. His laughably corrupt Attorney General, Loretta Lynch said, "We don't know if this was workplace rage or something larger or a combination of both."

The kind of workplace rage that leads a couple to assemble a small army's worth of firepower, some bombs and tactical gear, destroy their cell phones and carry out a massacre all within 20 minutes.

This story is brought to you by the same people who insisted that the assault on the Benghazi compound conducted with heavy firepower was really a spontaneous movie review.

Farook's father said, “He was very religious. He would go to work, come back, go to pray, come back.” Neighbors say that he "grew a beard and started to wear religious clothing. The long shirt that’s like a dress and the cap on his head.” Neighbors noticed something was wrong, but they were afraid to "profile" him. That might be Islamophobic. And it's better to let Americans die than be thought a bigot. That's the policy in Washington D.C. and over in the Redlands in California.

So his motive remains a mystery wrapped in an enigma and tucked inside an IED. We could speculate, but that would be Islamophobic. All we can do is shoot back once the latest perpetrators of workplace violence have killed enough people that killing them no longer seems disproportionate.

Syed Farook sought his soulmate in "a girl who has the same outlook, wear hijab, but live the life to the fullest." And in a cult of death, living life to the fullest means taking the lives of others.

Farook, as his dating profile said, came from a “religios but modern family of 4”. And you can tell they were modern because they used guns, not swords.

When the Redlands Tea Party Patriots objected to the resettling of Syrian Muslim migrants in their community, CAIR accused them of “paranoia and phobia is rooted in a combination of ignorance and bigotry.”

But “paranoia and phobia” are the modern condition that the free world has found itself living in. Islamic terrorism can strike anytime and anywhere from a Paris concert hall to a San Bernardino County facility where disabled children were being helped. It’s ignorance to ignore that and bigotry to defend it.

“What will be done to ensure the safety of our community? Our biggest concern is the safety of our family, our children and our grandchildren,” Victoria Hargrave of Redlands Townhall had asked.

It was a good question. As the country watched police charge towards a home in the Redlands, it has become an even better question.

Everything possible was done to deny Nidal Hassan’s terrorist motivations in the Fort Hood Massacre. His attack was deemed workplace violence. Even his own attempts to explain that he supported the terrorists were shut down so that he was reduced to smuggling messages to get his story out.

And despite multiple statements by Hassan that he was a terrorist, the official story is still workplace violence. Right after the shooting, it was some strain of airborne PTSD that had somehow transmitted itself from American veterans to the Muslim employee who had never seen combat until he began killing them.

There are always excuses.

The Times Square bomber had financial issues. The Tsarnaev terrorists were poorly adjusted. Once the media digs into Farouk’s life, it will no doubt find that he had financial issues, was poorly adjusted and may have even been suffering from some mysterious form of airborne PTSD.

Obama and the media would like to make this story about “gun violence”. But guns don’t shoot themselves. There is a hand that pulls the trigger and a mind whose foul purposes that hand serves.

Gun violence is not a mechanical problem. It is not a hardware problem of guns going off at random. It is not a biological problem of fingers randomly twitching on triggers. It is a problem of the mind.

Behind each massacre, there is a mind. And it is that mind, its ideas and its beliefs, that kills.

San Bernardino is home to what is described as a “growing Muslim population” and that growth comes with terrifying growing pains.

This latest attack appears to be one of them.

It’s a matter of simple math that as the population most likely to commit terrorist acts increases, so do the acts themselves.

Two months ago, Marilyn Snyder of the Redlands Tea Party Patriots wrote of “the runners and spectators of the Boston Marathon who never imagined that refugee jihadists were stealthily plotting their demise — just because they were not Muslims.”

Most people in San Bernardino County did not expect that anyone was plotting to kill them. They did not think that one evening the events from far-off France would suddenly be taking place where they lived. And yet that is the new reality.

Islamic terrorism can strike anywhere and everywhere.

“While it is impossible to prevent death delivered by madmen who kill because of religious extremism, it is possible to put in place federal policies that limit the influx of Muslim extremists through the wide-open refugee doors of the Obama administration,” Marilyn wrote.

That remains true.

Sayeed Farouk, like Nidal Hassan, did not suddenly fly over here from Syria. But that only makes it more vital that we prevent the next attack and the next massacre by closing the doors and keeping our country safe.

We cannot bring back the dead, the victims of the long horrifying roll of Islamic terror that stretches back for thousands of years, but we can protect the living.

The left approaches this as a mechanical problem, but it’s an ideological problem. It’s a conflict between two sets of ideas and two sets of worldviews. It is a war between those who believe that men must be ruled by the dead will of Mohammed and his brutal successors and those of us who believe in the freedom of our founding documents and the right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness.

It is not a war that we will win through appeasement or disarmament. And we can begin to fight back by protecting ourselves and our country.

“We Redlanders and all Americans need to stand up with “common sense and judgment” with an emphatic “No!” to Syrian refugee resettlement. It’s time to bar the doors against jihadi infiltration,” Marilyn wrote.

From Redland to Paris, it’s time that we did the right thing, for our towns, our cities and our country.

I fixed that for you. The socialists are fellow travelers of islam.

Barring immigration is only a partial solution--rather like patching holes in a garage roof, through which wasps are entering. It's better, it's best, to go after the nest. Eradicate it. We have long known precisely which nation-states are governed by Sharia; those are the nests of terror. And they could--and should--all be destroyed in the space of a single week.

Yes But; I keep firearms to defend; But why do I NEED them. Well Mr. President , it might have a lot to do with the people you keep forcing on my town/state/country , who keep trying to murder me. They kill each other like its a sport, and my "betters" keep insisting that I have them next door , and become a party to the imported insanity lest I be labeled a "hater" (disapproval in any form is now "hate speech") Yes its crazy; And yes DC will keep doing it. Because this isn't about Islam or ISIS or oil or race. Its about sowing discord until violence grows to such levels that martial law is enacted . Then DC will move to "fix" the problem. This is about, the same thing it was about in 1964 . EMPIRE , and an end to the ("they" believe) silly idea's of Liberty and personal freedom. We would do well to remember that not very long ago Kings walked the earth proclaiming themselves "god's". For the "elite" want the power of the "god king" back, and we would be fools to underestimate how far "they" are willing to go or what , and who they are willing to use , to get that hereditary power back. This is about the same thing it was about in 5000 BCE-- POWER. ----Ray

The entire debate on accepting refugees is misframed in terms of Islamophobia. It should be about giving priority to those most in need of protection - who are from minority groups such as Armenians and other non-Muslim groups who would be most threatened by Daesh and other rebel groups. The entire proposed refugee quota for the US could be filled entirely from this group.

King, you're exactly right. Ir's the point that needs to be made.

I believe that these ideas are valid; yet above all we must have leadership within this country who take the threat of Islam seriously, unlike our current leadership who actually support the ideology and view that the United States must be punished for its success.

The Benghazi "spontaneous movie review" featured mortars and fully automatic weapons being employed against people who had nothing to do w/the movie, because that's how movie reviews are done in muslim states!

The Obama regime and its hard-working minions have total contempt for the intelligence of Americans, and I mean all Americans, left and right. For the right, the feeling is obvious and has been from the beginning.

But he also despises the left. He clearly thinks he can tell them anything and the fools will swallow it whole and even hit the streets and twitter feeds to propagate the lies.

I used to wonder how Stalin felt as he presided (behind the screen) over the show trials of his former Bolshevik comrades. Then I realized his thoroughgoing contempt.

No wonder he laughed as they pleaded for their lives — they had long since shown themselves as contemptible because they propagated the party's lies. Worse — and even funnier — they had apparently believed the lies! The Workers' Paradise was much better off with such lunatics feeding the worms.

I don't have to wonder what I can do in defense of this madness, though it's a small part. The Smith and Wesson M&P 9 Shield, while it might not absolutely stop one of these followers of Mohammed, but it would definitely put a speedbump in their carrying out a massacre. If you can, buy a gun, learn how to use it, follow the common sense rules of its operation and get a concealed carry permit. It's us or them.

For those of you that are not familiar with the areas David was talking about, I can tell you that Mr. G has certainly done his homework and research. I am all too familiar with the areas involved and can tell you, that we have a definite "situation" brewing here. I will leave it at that.

I was not surprised that this happened. I have been waiting for this kind of thing to erupt "here" for a good 20 years. But, I was surprised that it was "here." Not rodeo drive, the Beverley center, a sports arena, or an amusement park. I would have expected something with real bling, a la Nairobi or Mumbai. Silly me.

The official spokes holes seem to emphasize this as "workplace" violence. Are you aware that one of SF's targets was a coworker that was a Messianic Jew, that made clear his beliefs that the religion of peace was anything but? Or that another target was an apparently gay man that ran the coffee shop, NOT one of SF's coworkers? (Sorry, I cannot bear to name the shooter and give him more air time.) Otherwise, just ordinary people.

But then, going back over a few years worth of threats from IS and similar groups, they have promised to bring the fight here, to small town America. I would have thought North Platte, or Bozeman, or Springfield. But no, right here. I wonder, is it because it has become next to impossible for the average citizen to bear arms here?

Do you think this would have happened in Laramie or Phoenix or Reno? We have referred to Lexington and Concord as a collective "shot heard 'round the world." This may well turn out to be just as significant, a turning point.

I would like to extend my condolences to the families, friends, coworkers, and survivors of those murdered. I wish a speedy recovery, mentally, physically, and spiritually to the wounded that have survived.

However, if all America does is have a bunch of vigils, impromptu memorials, thoughts, and prayers, this will not turn out well. It is time for action and time for Americans to tell the DC PC crowd we are not tolerating any more of this. What are we waiting for, Beslan II?

Thanks again Mr. G for the well researched post.

Newton's laws apply to politics also. There is an equivalent and opposite reaction
coming. What we are looking at is the Wild West. However, instead of a lack of Peace Officers, we are having police officers being told that they CAN NOT enforce laws, profile the actions that are predictive behavior or even look at them with a jaundiced view.

It will take nothing short of the citizenry declaring war upon those that would kill them and suddenly we find ourselves with a constitutional right to not only bear arms, but to carry them.

The Immigration and Nationality Act passed June 27, 1952 revised the laws relating to immigration, naturalization, and nationality for the United States. That act, which became Public Law 414, established both the law and the intent of Congress regarding the immigration of Aliens to the US and remains in effect today. Among the many issues it covers, one in particular, found in Chapter 2 Section 212, is the prohibition of entry to the US if the Alien belongs to an organization seeking to overthrow the government of the United States by "force, violence, or other unconstitutional means." This, by its very definition, rules out Islamic immigration to the United States, but this law is being ignored by the White House.Islamic immigration to the US would be prohibited under this law because the Koran, Sharia Law and the Hadith all require complete submission to Islam, which is antithetical to the US government, the Constitution, and to the Republic. All Muslims who attest that the Koran is their life's guiding principal subscribe to submission to Islam and its form of government. Now the political correct crowd would say that Islamists cannot be prohibited from entering the US because Islam is a religion. Whether it is a religion is immaterial because the law states that Aliens who are affiliated with any "organization" that advocates the overthrow of our government are prohibited."

Allow me to offer 2 thought experiments, if I may:

1) Please try to recall the last time--rather, all of the times--you have seen a pic of someone, including a 6-year-old child from Australia, holding up a severed head--a head that, moments before the pic was taken, was a living, breathing, human being created by God. Now that you have that recollection in mind: Was that person a Catholic, or some other Christian denomination? Was that person Jewish? Was that person Yazidi? Was that person Buddhist? Was that person Hindi? No...in EVERY case, that person is from, well...the religion that shall not be named--the so-called "religion of peace"; &

2) Imagine you have before you your favorite candy--be it M&M's or Skittles or Starbursts, what have you. Now imagine I have offered you 100 pieces of said candy, but I told you that 10 of them were poisonous. Would you eat them? Of course you would not. The majority are fine--even great and tasty--but that small minority makes it unsafe to ingest. So, too, are we unsafe in letting in these so-called "refugees" who hate us. They hate us. It is as simple as that. They hate us AND every other group that is not them. They cause havoc wherever they go. They literally cause chaos, havoc and terrorism across the entire globe with all groups who are not them. It is like the Monroe Doctrine spiked with religious fervor. It is suicidal to let these people among our midst.

Where is our Winston Churchill? Could it be Trump?

What can we do beside comment on blog posts and write articles? We need to organize! These are troubling and most serious times. I asked my 94-year-old Dad on Thanksgiving what his take was on all this. He looked at me and said, simply, "This is very bad--very serious. We need to kill them all. They are our enemy and want to kill us. It is us or them." He fought in WW2 and was a huge part of the campaign that pushed back Rommel in North Africa. Like the Jews and the Armenians (heck, like most of the planet) my people have had (horrible) experiences with the religion of peace. They are satisfied with nothing less than world domination. As the muslimes themselves say, even the "moderate" ones: "First you kill the Saturday people and then you kill the Sunday people." I say them, not us. This has gotten to be too much.

Here is an example of self-proclaimed "moderate" muslimes:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nA3xN5ptZXM

I have neighbors like this--and I live in an upscale suburban neighborhood. It has gotten to be too dangerous for modern, civilized human beings.

Jihad is to strive in the cause of allah to impose religion and reduce dar al harb to nonexistence.

Their islam is the only religion remaining as they consider all others to be abrogated. Dar al harb--you and me--is to be reduced by conversion, submission as dhimmi or death by jihad. Anyone selling other fictitious narratives should be subject to impeachment, firing and.or prosecution.

Mohammedanism is a behavioral indicator, Mr. Stockton.

Thank you, Daniel Greenfield!

Daniel, this exceptional column, as with many of your others, was widely shared with those on my contact list. I came across the new word that we must begin plastering everywhere when discussing the truth about islam. Instead of the absurd CAIR concocted word, islamaphobia, begin using the word "islamoreality."
I believe we can effectively counter the left's narrative if we get this word out everywhere.

Every single day since its inception, Islam/Mohammedanism has proved it is not an ideology of peace at all. There has never been peace within Islam nor peace with Islam. Islam has been a continual bloodbath. There have been 27,391 deadly Islamic jihad attacks documented in the news since 9/11/01. Here is just the last 30 days of Islam’s assault of innocent people: http://www.thereligionofpeace.com/index.html#Attacks

Islam conditions its followers to cognitive dissonance because of its conflicting directives between the Mecca writings and the Medina writings. Islam conditions its adherents to inhumanity, to barbarism, to socio-pathological behaviors.

Islam is racist.misogynist.supremacist.hate.cult. Every descriptor in that sentence has numerous infallible proofs from the core texts, to current sermons, to doctrines and traditions and most of all, the consistent, continual actions of the followers of Mohammed through the centuries.

Let’s just look at the cult part:
Here are some of the characteristics of a cult:
1. Supremacy – Group claims to have only real Truth, superiority above all others.
2. Uniqueness – Group has peculiar beliefs that are not shared by any other group.
3. Coercion – threat. Group demands utmost loyalty. If you leave our group, we will kill, harm or punish you.
4. Exploitation – Group demands all or most of members money, property, time.
5. Isolation – Group demands members leave family, friends, job, home.
6. Devotion, obedience – Group demands total unquestioning devotion and obedience.
7. Identity – Group gives new name, identity, set of values to members, acts as substitute family.
8. Abuse – Group abuses members physically, sexually, emotionally and/or rationally/cognitively (gas-lighting, brain-washing, conditioning) by convincing member what they see is not reality or by use of drugs, fasting, forced exercise/labor, loss of sleep, imprisonment/isolation.
9. Criminality – Group forces/coerces members to engage in crimes, scams, etc.
10. Secrecy – Group has secret rituals, vows, practices that members may not reveal to outsiders.
11. Goals, agenda, expectancy, hierarchy, rewards – Group has predictions, prophecies, goals, complicated timelines and doctrines that members are taught.
12. Proselytization – Group encourages outreach and rewards members who bring in new members.
13. Leadership – Group has leaders that are believed to have special powers, have had special visions, spiritual experiences, and are given status, privileges, veneration, even worship.
Some of the social justice groups that bully Americans today certainly qualify as cults. Global Warming and LBGTXYZ groups are edging toward cult-dom. Islam is a cult by any definition of the term.

@unknown posted on December 4th 2015: First of all, uttering any resemblance of Adolf Hitler to the President of the Democratic United States is out right disrespectful. Why should Obama legitimize ISIL by calling them ISIS and declaring that there is an Islamic State? Once again that would just be uncivil and un-courteous to citizens and dwellers of the United States, many of whom have been affected by ISIL’s acts of terrorism. Stop hiding behind your computer screen by posting a comment as “unknown”. You are straight up ignorant!

Another outstanding post.

Ideas have consequences, and Islamic terror is the consequence of Islamic ideology, and ideology that leaders in the West militantly refuse to confront.

Islamophobia is a irrational fear of Islam. How can anyone, with a straight face, say fear of Islam is irrational? To the contrary, to not fear Islam is irrational at this point.

I propose we refer to people who remain irrationally uncritical of Islam as Islamopiles. Islamophillia is an irrational attraction to Islam.
