Friday Afternoon Roundup - The Real Gaffe

from Bosch Fawstin

You may have heard about the Muslim bomb plot against the Federal Reserve. But here's his true motive, which the media is refusing to cover.

The Federal affidavit states that Nafis wanted to carry out a major terrorist attack to “make one step ahead, for the Muslims… that will make us one step closer to run the whole world”.

Nafis believed that, “Targeting America’s economy is most efficient way to draw the path of obliteration of America as well as the path of establishment of Khilipha (Caliphate.)”

If you read just one paragraph on this blog today, make it this one

Under Obama and Biden’s definition of leaving, we are going to have almost as many soldiers in Afghanistan after 2014… as there were during the war under the Bush Administration.

Obama is going to have more soldiers in Afghanistan in 2015 than Bush did in 2006.

Obama isn’t pulling out of Afghanistan. He’s pulling the troops from his failed surge out of Afghanistan. It’s a lie and he needs to be called on it

For a day the Democratic Party giggled itself over "Binders of Women". Probably the lowest point in the spelunking gaffe manufacturing machine. What began as an exercise in BuzzFeed meme comedy complete with Tumblrs and Memes in Impact font suddenly began showing up in all of Obama's speeches.

But the joke wasn't on Romney. It was on Obama.

Two weeks ago the Democratic Party, from the top down, deciding to refocus on a meme that means absolutely nothing, might have been called brilliant and cutting edge by a media wallowing in its own descent into the mindless vulgarity of the trending topic.

But when you're losing in every real poll and the states you need to win are slipping out of your grasp, the Binders meme showed the triviality and childishness of Obama and his supporters in their determination to keep focusing on the unimportant.

The whole joke of Binders of Women was that some people found it absurd and insisted on beating it into the ground. But the substance of it? There isn't any. Like most memes it's a joke about the absurdity of language, which is fine if you're writing messages on pictures of angry cats, but not so much if you're trying to convince a bankrupt country to give you one more shot.

Smoke enough pot in the Oval Office and Binders of Women sounds hilarious. Wait around for a job that you know isn't coming while looking for a way to make leftovers stretch another two days for a family of four, and it isn't funny at all.

Most of the debate analysis is either wrong or besides the point. Romney has pulled ahead because in two debates, the country saw that he could probably be trusted to run things and the current guy can probably be trusted to open for Chris Rock in a 3 nights only show in the Times Square Comedy Club.

Romney isn't winning on points. He's winning because he seems capable of taking over and is talking about the issues while Obama is talking about all the binders full of Big Birds while referencing his favorite TV shows. Everyone's seen four years of the same show. Now they want their jobs back.

The freedoms inscribed into the Bill of Rights are meant to protect us against the abuses of government authority. And yet there is a more primal form of freedom that must first be defended if those freedoms are to have any meaning at all.

Before the American colonies were free of British rule, the Bill of Rights could have no function. The first freedom, before all freedoms from domestic government authority, is the freedom from rule by external oppressive forces. Only when a people are free of foreign dominance and alien rule and are able to lift their heads and make their own laws without fear of their oppressors, can there be true freedom.

The first freedom in the days of the American Revolution was freedom from British rule. The first freedom in 1941 was freedom from Nazi Germany and Imperial Japan. The first freedom during the Cold War was freedom from Communism. The first freedom in our own time is freedom from Islam.

The freedoms of our Constitution express a relationship between us and our government. But when a third party invades this relationship and imposes its will on both parties then the relationship can only be rebuilt by banishing this external oppressive force. When that oppressive force is comprehensive enough, when like Nazism, Islamism or Communism it represents both a physical means of conquest as well as a political ideology with its own cult, then freedom comes to be defined in terms of being free of that external force.

...that's an excerpt from my article, Freedom from Islam

Here's a short excerpt from my Point blog on Justice Stevens' contention that there is a Constitutional right to an Obamaphone

We have the spectacle of a senior attorney and a former Supreme Court Justice who are unable to think of negative rights, only of positive rights, which leads them into complete folly.

Treating the right to self-defense as an entitlement, rather than a freedom, they try to equalize it. Since not everyone has a gun and everyone has an entitlement to self-defense, some way must be found to make that entitlement equal to everyone, including non-gun owners and people who are afraid of loud noises. And the only way to do that is to take away their guns and give them cell phones with a direct line to the police who will arrive in time to mark off the crime scene and draw the chalk outlines.

This is stupid, but it’s scary stupid, because in a decade, Obama’s justices will be making a variation of the same argument, reducing the 2nd Amendment to a self-defense entitlement and then striving to make everyone equal, by race, gender and sexual orientation in the entitlement to self-defense.

“Even rebels we’ve identified as somebody we could work with have partnered with jihadists, because they have their own sources of money and weapons,” House Intelligence Committee Chairman Mike Rogers said in an interview.

Sorry guys, no Syrian rebellion for you. The Syrian rebels are Al Qaeda or partnered with Al Qaeda. And the Free Syrian Army has stopped hiding its joint operation with the Al Nusra Front.

And Obama, the great warrior who single-handedly defeated Al Qaeda... has been arming Al Qaeda.

As Biden admitted during the debate, Obama outsourced the arms decision making process to Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Turkey. All 3 countries are run by Islamists.

Most of the arms shipped at the behest of Saudi Arabia and Qatar to supply Syrian rebel groups fighting the government of Bashar al-Assad are going to hard-line Islamic jihadists

And when the New York Times says Islamists, they don't mean the guys in suits who run for office. They mean Al Qaeda or groups just as bad.

Obama bungled the Benghazi attack and now he's bungling the response.

4. The Libyan government denied Obama the right to fly armed drones over Libya. Instead Obama has taken 8 million dollars out of the budget for counterterrorism against Al Qaeda in Pakistan to create a 500 strong Libyan commando force. The most likely recruits for such a force would come from the same Islamist militias who are also deeply embedded in the Libyan government. The money would be used to train our enemies… again.
What were our counter-terrorism experts doing while the consulate burned? You don't want to know.

No really... you don't.

A State Department official, Shahed Amanullah, ran through the ways effective al-Qaida propagandists spread their message on the internet, and described how a program he runs, called Viral Peace, seeks to troll the online radicals.

A team in Foggy Bottom makes parodies of al-Qaida’s online advertisements and creates mobile-friendly digital videos that mock the radicals.

The State Department has even sent an Islamic rap group to various Muslim countries as goodwill ambassadors

Now you also understand why the NASA Chief claimed that Obama had told that Muslim outreach was the organization’s first priority. NASA is also a victim of Muslim CVE.

BUT HAVE YOU EVER WANTED TO KNOW... to tell apart Muslim Moderates and Muslim Extremists? Here's your handy portable guide to the Arab Spring.

The Benghazi consulate’s own security forces had been stripped down to their bare essentials. Inside the compound, in their own barracks, were members of the February 17 Martyrs Brigade who were tasked with providing security for the consulate. The February 17 Martyrs Brigade is an Islamist militia affiliated with the Muslim Brotherhood. The attackers firing off RPGs into the compound were members of Ansar Al Sharia, a spinoff of the February 17 Martyrs Brigade, associated with Al Qaeda.

A month later and a thousand miles away, the moderate Free Syrian Army and the extremist Al Nusra Front captured a missile base in Syria. The Free Syrian Army is the force that almost everyone agrees we should be supporting. They are almost certainly the fighters that Obama is conveying weapons and trainers to. And the Treasury Department approved a license to provide direct financial assistance to the FSA. The Al Nusra Front however is linked to Al Qaeda and waves the black flag of the Caliphate. It considers the United States an enemy of Islam.

The rebel spokesman for the local franchise of the Brave Syrian People ™ explained, “We don’t distinguish between the groups Al Nusra and the other militias, as long as everyone is working toward one goal of ousting the regime.” Our beloved moderates were making no distinction between themselves and the extremists.

A little background on the car bombing in Beirut today and the most important sentence from the Orlando Sentinel's endorsement of Romney."It verges on magical thinking to expect Obama to get different results in the next four years."

The instability of the Libyan War has led to the first SAM attack on an Israeli helicopter as Gaza fills up with Libyan weapons. And, "I'm a Jew, so I'm voting for Romney", the video.

Are Egypt and Tunisia headed for Counter-Islamist revolutions? My correspondents in the region think that it might happen in Tunisia, but much less likely to happen in Egypt.

Islamists climbed to power in Egypt and Tunisia on the backs of economic protests which were hijacked by liberal activists which were then hijacked by Islamists. The Islamists won elections, but the liberals are still trying to pull them down and there’s plenty of economic discontent for them to work with.

Tahrir Square is once again turning into a protest ground, this time for Anti-Brotherhood activists who were the players in the original revolution. The confrontations between liberal protesters and government thugs is playing out a lot like the way the old revolution did. And while the Muslim Brotherhood reaped the rewards of that revolution, Mubarak was not removed by an election and there’s no reason to think that the same thing cannot also happen to Morsi.

Anti-bullying is the new bullying.

In Canada, Laurel Broten, Ontario’s Minister of Education announced that Catholic schools could not teach that abortion was wrong under anti-bullying doctrines.

Here’s how it works

1. Talk about the problem of bullying. Pick out a teenage suicide to exploit.

2. Use the manufactured outcry to pass a law whose real purpose is to promote the left’s social agenda

3. Use the law to override any religious values based dissent against that social agenda

Here's how the BBC censored Churchill and how they paid the price by losing their monopoly and how the great Bosnian civil rights crusade with bombs led to the ethnic cleansing of 440,000 Catholics.

Finally, the Growing Insanity of the Nobel Peace Prize.

Then the Nobel Peace Prize lost its mind. It was taken over by the same people who run Time Magazine’s Man of the Year.

Before 2000 to win one of these you had to promote peace. After 2000, to win a Nobel Peace Prize all you had to do was be Anti-Bush. Or be encouraged to be preemptively against Bush.

Kofi Annan and the UN won one in 2001. Jimmy Carter won one in 2002. El Baradei won one in 2005. Al Gore won one in 2007. Obama won one shortly after taking office. Now it’s been awarded to the European Union. And it’s a good thing too because the EU is running low on funds and could use the prize money.

Their heroism is incredible when you consider what they were facing. Doherty and Woods reached the main compound of the Consulate and evacuated approximately 20 employees. Unfortunately, Ambassador Steven’s aide Sean Smith was already dead when they arrived. Woods and Doherty fought through the firefight, and took the consulate employees back to the annex building where again they came under another wave of attacks.

Between the initial firefight at the Main Consulate, and at the annex building, for over two hours they were able to fight back against approximately 200 al-Qaeda terrorists, who pre-planned and coordinated the attack to occur in two stages.

The second wave of attacks at the annex brought even more firepower upon them. Yet they held their position providing time for the 20 consulate employees to be rescued. In total for over two hours they held off upwards of 200 attackers, under heavy fire from RPGs, mortars, and at least one 23mm Anti Aircraft gun firing on their position(s) around the consulate grounds and the annex building.

Some of this is Medal of Honor stuff, had they still been in the service, and Doherty and Woods deserve to be remembered far more than Ambassador Stevens with his creepy half-smile and his undying love for the Muslim world.

Right now, today, I know, you know, we know and they know. Everybody knows. And the truth is that there are more, many more, of us in 2012 than there were in 2008. And we are all going to the polls whereas many of them are not. I know that they all say that they are, but you know how deeply and compulsively they lie so why would we believe them about this.

Our army appeared from out of nowhere back in 2010 and our army has only gotten bigger since then. It's not a standing army. We don't like standing armies. But it is an army and it knows that, come November, it has to march on the polls and eradicate this disease that has been infecting the body politic. It knows that November is the time to do it and elections are the way to do it.

Edward Cline in Rule of Reason discusses some of the consequences of hate crimes legislation and applying those laws to Islam.

The problem with the idea of a "hate crime" is that it appends an irrelevant motive to an action that would otherwise be treated as a felony, and makes the motive a felony, as well. Further, "hate crimes" are complemented by another invalid concept, "hate speech," also elevated to the status of a felony, that is, a crime. While criminal actions cannot be divorced from motives, up until recently motives were not punishable as state-defined and state-enforced crimes, only the fact of a criminal action.

This dangerous and totalitarian idea of "hate crime" has naturally migrated into the realm of speech. Now the act of expressing a "negative" stance on Muslims, homosexuals, and other "protected" groups is treated as a "hate crime" compounded by the crime of "hate speech." Both notions seek to punish the contents of an individual's mind. However, no matter how repellant those contents, they can never be objectively known, not even when a defendant describes them. To make the contents of one's mind a legal liability, is a form of thought control.

The notorious Rutgers case, which involved no physical contact at all between the defendant and the "injured" but the use of a webcam, saw the coining of another euphemism for "hate crime": bias intimidation.

Instead, practically all criticism of Islam is regarded as "hurtful" and an "insult," and Muslims and their advocates continually seek "justice" or restitution of or compensation for their lost "dignity" in courts. All a Muslim need do is assert some form of (unprovable) anguish (or a diminution of his mental and/or emotional well-being) as a result of the "inhuman" treatment of legitimate criticism, and is regarded as a virtual physical assault.

The nail in the coffin should be yesterday’s revelation that global temperature showed NO increase in the last 16 years. Unfortunately, AGW or Climate Change as they now call it seems to be the herpes of junk science, we just can’t make it go away, no matter how much hard evidence to the contrary is released.

I don't always comment, but I do read your blog. I don't always agree with your point of view, but it does make me think.

Maybe causing me (and others) to think about the issues is the real success of a good blog.

Dear Daniel,
I think you wanted to say «Orlando Sentinel's endorsement of Romney», not «Orlando Sentinel's endorsement of Obama.»
Best wishes and keep up the wonderful work you do.
God bless you, shabat shalom.

The sad thing is that most people don't even realize they are signing their own death warrants and giving away what little freedom they have left. Probably half the people in the country think Libya is a company where they make canned corn. I just hope there are enough people left with common sense to get rid of the 5th element Muslim.

Typo here:

It's clear from the context (and the link)--you mean endorsement of Romney

Beyond despicable to mock Amb Stevens who served the nation as best he knew how. All 3 guys were important. All 3 were murdered.

Aaron Klein has reported that the US Embassy to Libya is in Tripoli, and that the US Consulate office is inside the US Embassy in Tripoli. He stated that the building in Benghazi was little more than a shack, and that it is not even listed on the State Department website. It was what he calls a "diplomatic mission," and it did not receive the same level of security as the offices in Tripoli. It was apparently where Ambassador Stevens held meetings to coordinate the "aid" in arms and finance which "we the people" are paying for to the lovely jihadists who helped topple the evil dictator in favor of the more benevolent Muslim Brotherhood. (sarc)

It would seem that if this was the function of the Benghazi building then the administration has very compelling reasons to continue the charade that the consulate was attacked.

What are your thoughts on this theory?

Those 3 guys all were doing their jobs.

The SEALS weren't doing their jobs, they went above and beyond.

Stevens was doing his job. The problem is his job was to help terrorists.

American Genie said...

Yes, his job was to help terrorists for the administration with little or no security while Valerie Jarrett has a full Secret Service detail 24/7.

Who was the mystery woman who who recently met with representatives of the ayatollah whatchameni to secure Obozo's October surprise? Was it the co-president?

Have I mentioned lately how much I detest the people in the White House?

Sounds like the Catholics in Canada made the same mistake as many Orthodox Jewish schools here in Israel and let themselves become financially dependent on the govt. (Not that I have an easy solution...)

In a properly Socialist system, all schools are under gov control anyway. Look at the situation of Jewish schools in the UK who have to accept Muslims.
