What Will a Muslim Europe Look Like?

The Telegraph recently made headlines with a survey that suggested that a fifth of the European Union will be Muslim by 2050. This is if anything an understatement of the situation, since once you subtract Eastern European states and focus in on Western European countries such as England, France and Italy... or Sweden, Islam will comprise a sizable enough minority to be considered a state within a state. And even the most pessimistic statistics will grow gloomier if 75 million Turks inside the presently Islamist Turkey will become part of the European Union.

Meanwhile always eager to get ahead, Russia estimates that Islam will become its predominant religion by 2050. The Russians, both under the USSR and in the Putin era, have done everything they can to try and raise the birth rate, but remains at half that of Uzbekistan, or even war torn Chechnya. With the Russian population set to fall by almost 50 million, to 100 million in 2050, the Muslim birth rate will have made up the surplus. Having tried all the usual financial family incentives and even made an effort at luring back its former Jewish emigrants, Russia is now counting on its state run network of mosques, which can only preach Jihad at America, England and any non-Russian infidels, to maintain control. It is an absurd strategy, but no more so than Europe's own.

While Europe may not boast a population that is by turns dying of alcohol poisoning or trying to escape abroad-- Europe is dying the slow death of socialism instead. High taxes, late marriages and the accompanying low birth rates have hit Europe hard. And attempts to compensate for gaps in the workforce during economic upswings with immigration, has imported the barbarians through the gate, past customs and into every major European city.

The old European is likely to live comfortably, to go abroad on vacations and have plenty of time for hobbies and entertainments. And to be child free, or perhaps one or two indifferently pampered children, if they can find the time. The new European is likely to be named Mohammed, to have twice as many children, if not twice as many wives, and to spend less time entertaining himself at operas and on vacations, and more time building a future for his family.

The old European is likely to have a limited interest in church or synagogue. His children may even hold an open hostility toward organized religion. The churches and synagogues will pursue his grandchildren with all sorts of gimmicks in the hopes of getting them to show up, but even if they do, there will be very little there to hold them. The new European will have a steady mosque. Outside the mosque he will listen to Islamic lectures on his media player or cell phone. Family ties will create strong religious bonds through the next generation, and there will always be a brother with a shiny knife for any daughter who stays off the path.

The end result is not very hard to project at all. Europe's left of center parties have embraced Muslims as a voting public, speeding their legalization, and what can only be euphemistically described as integration. But it is not so much Muslims being integrated into Europe, as Europe becoming integrated into the Islamic Ummah.

Europe's governments have increasingly chosen to bow to the inevitable, accepting the reality of a Muslim takeover, while imagining that it can happen on their terms. From finding common ground with domestic Muslim populations through Europeans accepting some Muslims customs, while Muslims in turn accept some European practices; to madder schemes such as Sarkozy's Mediterranean Union-- all these are attempts by dying European states to cope with the coming reality of a Muslim Europe.

Such plans all center on the fallacious premise that a non-Muslim minority can rule over a Muslim majority through anything but constant subterfuge or brute force, the two elements that Russia has been steadily applying to try and control its growing Muslim population.

The European states putting their hope in integration are missing out on the reality that they're trying to bail out the boat with a bucket that has a hole in it. When Muslims are successfully integrated, their birth rate drops. This might sound like a good thing, but all it means is that the old fashioned kind of Muslims will always out-reproduce both Europeans and any integrated Muslims. From the standpoint of natural selection, integrating Muslims confers Europe's birth rate disadvantage on them. Meanwhile there will be no shortage of Pakistani, Moroccan, Somalia and assorted other old fashioned Muslims just off the boat, and eager to take the infidel and any of his lackeys for all they've got.

Furthermore one cannot wave a magic wand and solve the Ummah problem with some mingling or a headscarf ban. There are cultural and religious divisions that will not be easily leapfrogged with all the well meaning rhetoric in the world. Particularly when that well meaning rhetoric continues to insist that there's nothing the matter with Islam in the first place, and that any proposed solution should involve teaching Europeans to be more tolerant. Well Europeans have already learned to tolerate millions of Muslims. By 2050 their tolerance will be getting a real workout. Of course by then it will mainly be a question of Muslims learning to tolerate them. Arguably that is the question already.

So what does the future hold for Europe? Constantinople offers some clues, but even with Turkey again on its doorstep, Europe is not Byzantium. There will be no wars, only a slow gradual takeover that is well under way.

The attempts to find common ground on the European side, are nothing more than a transition to Islamic rule on the Muslim side. It is a transition that begins with European institutions adapting to Muslim customs and laws. Much as colonial institutions evolved and took over from European ones, the process will continue within Europe itself, as banks, police forces and social services agencies will become more and more Muslim.

Muslim holidays will take on a public profile equivalent to those of native ones. Muslim prominence in politics will rise, moving from position to position. Muslim councilors will give way to Muslim mayors to Muslim prime ministers. It will of course all be done with a great deal of talk about how wonderful all this change is, and how tolerant and open we are now. "Isn't it historic this new Europe", they will say. And it is historic indeed. There are historic occasions at the end of history, just as there are at the beginning. And an excess of historic occasions always raises the question of whether it is the beginning or the end of a history which we bear witness to.

All the history of course will not blot away all the violence. Muslim areas will expand as black holes of crime, governed by no police but Muslim police. There bombs will be built, rabid sermons delivered, stolen cars dropped off at chop shops and drugs smuggled through for distribution outside its borders. Murders, gang rapes, and every sort of crime will happen there without knowledge or recourse. These black holes will also pour forth a constant outcry of racism. And every now and then when the mood strikes them, the "youth" will pour forth to burn and loot.

In time the cries of racism and the riots will give way to calls for an autonomous territory, a state within a state. And the politicians will nod their heads and say, "Yes, this is the best solution to the problem. It isn't as if we control the territory as it is." And then Europe will have its own Palestinian states in Paris and Oslo, in Manchester and Brussels. States that will soon become countries in waiting, from which rockets will shell, suicide bombers will go forth, and the blood will flow, until enough compromises are made to Sharia law and to Muslim rule, that Europe will finally become Eurabia (As described in Bat Ye'or's book Eurabia: The Euro-Arab Axis)

The date cannot be predicted with any degree of certainty. The larger variable is immigration which hinges on global economics and domestic policy. The smaller variable depends on third and fourth generation Muslim birth rates. And then there are the wild cards, Turkey's admission to the EU, a nuclear war between India and Pakistan, the collapse of Iraq sending forth a new flood of refugees, and many others. There is the yet uncertain question of what percentage of Europeans will adopt Islam. And there is the question of what impact European emigration will have on these figures. But predicting dates is for fortune tellers. Predicting trends however does not require a crystal ball, but the ability to calculate the forward motion of moving objects.

As long as the European birth rate keeps falling, and Europe's borders remain open, and its politicians remain unwilling to begin exporting its former guest workers back to their countries of origin, Europe is doomed. The date may be unknown, but the trajectory is all too unfortunately clear.

When it comes to Muslims, Europe, Israel, America and every country infected with the Islamist plague retains only one real option, to deport them or to surrender to them. Europe has chosen to surrender. Israel has chosen to partition itself, thereby only dragging out the pain. America has chosen to pretend the problem doesn't apply to it. And by doing so, all of them are paving the way for their own destruction.

  1. I'm still holding out hope that the West will fight back against the islamic aggression, having said that though when the West does finally fight back (purely out of self interest rather than any sense of justice), people should realize that it won’t be the same West which freedom-loving people previously had an attachment to nor will it be favorable to Jews and other non-white non-indigenous peoples that currently reside in the West at this very moment, since they'll very likely be caught in between two opposing forces who see them either as non-muslims or colored foreigners (like what Jews had to go through while christians / muslims were fighting for control over medieval spain).

Thanks for the article. Two little thoughts:
Many Muslims in Europe live on welfare.I don´t think that the natives will be able to pay for this for much longer. Once the welfare state breaks down, the situation will shake up.
The birth-rate in places like Turkey or Morocco is falling, too. That doesn´t mean of course that we may well be overrun by someone else, Africans for example.

The world is facing a rather grim future. As a long-time amateur student of ancient history, I see the world entering another Dark Age similar to the Fall of The Roman Empire.

Can I tell you what my relatives say about France? The story goes, '' A Muslim walks up to a Frenchman & spits in his face. The Frenchman says, excusez-moi."
    That's Europe today.

Lemon, I'm surprised at you, "poor Europe'???
Time to PAY, for Spain expulsion, Crusades that destroyed half of Jewish communities, Chmielnitzky and Kishinev pogroms, blood libels murders, and the biggest killing of all, the Shoa.

  9. collaborations don't endure, sooner or later one of the parties must rule

in Europe, Islam has the birth rate and the aggressiveness on their side, while European governments have accepted the inevitable

so the situation is headed down a one way track

  10. Do you think they will all go down quietly? I find it hard to believe about the once proud Brits. There are already some signs that some of them are going to fight and try to take their country back.

  11. I don't think it's too likely, the curve is growing too steep, and the majority of the public grumbles about immigration, but are not prepared to really do anything about it

  12. Europe under Islam? This can be described in three little words:

    Hell On Earth.

(and as a Jew, I don't even *believe* in 'hell'...!)

    TO DANNY:

As a Brit, I can tell you that sadly this nation is not remotely 'proud'. Morale is extremely low. Our dhimmi Labour 'government' make concession after concession to Islam, each one more insane.

    Here's an example for you:

And look at the number of people in Scotland who are now clamoring for the Lockerbee (sp) terrorists to be freed from just because he has cancer? It's insane.

The only sickness in that case is the mental illness in Europe called Islam.

Call it political correctness, defeatism, surrender or national suicide but Europe has already surrendered. They've converted to Islam already; they just won't admit it.

Long ago before it was held captive by mohammedan worshippers, it was known for it's beautiful flowers and as people can toward Lebanon they could smell the flowers in the breezes.
It was a gloriously beautiful place.
Once mohammedan's got their hands on it , it was turned to what it is today.
    What a difference.

    Now, now mr. Knish

    Do not underestimate Europe!

    This is far from over!

Future is a bitch and the first shall be the last!

I detect somekind of badly hidden happy-happy go jolly-jolly over the rumoured death or islamization of the europeans in your article.
Yes you will deny this, but it is none the less a fact.
Perhaps you harbour these emotions because of the long (continueing and very stupid) european support of the palestinians?
Perhaps because of the european massacre of the jewish diaspora?

Soon Europe will be a stalwart supporter of Israel!! Trust me on that one. But ofcourse only as long as it fits her own ends. Christians and jews will probably never really get along! But they will without doubt love eachother in time of common crisis!

(By the way and you will no doubt take offense. How Islam resembles Judaism!! Both have this allimportant inbuild arrogance towards the unbeliever/ the goy! The kuffar and the goy are unclean and the "true" believers so "clean" and so "chosen".
A true masterrace! Without the "impure other" no Judaism, no Islam!!!
    Jesus what arrogance. Such hate!!)

What we are witnessing these days is far from the fall of Europe or for that matter the fall of the West!
It is the fall of Islam. This very violent ideology is at last coming to a violent end.
No we cant see it with clarity yet because of the turmoil and chaos, but its dying breath is close, so close.
The stench of its decaying soul is everywhere in the air!!!

(Judaism is as stonedead as Islam by the way, but will no doubt outlast it a while. I will miss neither!)

    Kind Regards

  18. The decline of Europe is not something I made up, it is a trend. It is not impossible that Europe will break out of that trend, but at this point it is showing no sign that it has the ability or will to do so.

If I really wanted Europe to go down, I wouldn't bother writing articles like this warning about the problem.

"(By the way and you will no doubt take offense. How Islam resembles Judaism!! Both have this allimportant inbuild arrogance towards the unbeliever/ the goy! The kuffar and the goy are unclean and the "true" believers so "clean" and so "chosen".

If you really care to go down this route, we can talk about the attitude of the Catholic Church toward the unbeliever. I recall torches and inquisitions being involved.

Contrary to your arrogant assertion, no religion is immune to that kind of attitude.

As for Judaism, we outlived Babylon, Assyria, Greece, Rome, the Holy Roman Empire, Byzantium, the Sultans and the USSR and the Third Reich. I think we'll be around longer than you think.

  19. The church believes itself to be the chosen people who are the only ones with salvation. All others are damned.
Jews never believed that sort of thing about others.

"The Second Vatican Council's Decree on Ecumenism explains: 'For it is through Christ's Catholic Church alone, which is the universal help toward salvation, that the fullness of the means of salvation can be obtained.'" Pg. 215, #816

More blood lies at the door of the Vatican than anywhere else in the world.

Thank you for a good reply!

    Yet I disagree still.

Please note that I did not predict or wish for the end of the jews!!!
    But for Judaism!!
For you that ofcourse seems the same. And truly Judaism is dependant on the jews, while the jews are certainly not dependant on Judaism.
The jews are able to (and should) go on without their archaic and nonsense beliefs!

The catholic church have no doubt made a lot of bad mistakes.Certainly assimilating a lot of the attitudes of Islam. But it remains a church not a religion.

No doubt nonchristians are lost, but they are not impure!!!
Between lost and impure there remains an abyss.

You say that no religions are immune to this attitude of pure and impure! Certainly Hinduism, Zoroatrianism, Judaism and countless others are not. But Christianity and Buddhism are. Please do not confuse believers and religion.
Muslims behave far better than their ideology prescribes them!

Please also understand that I do not say that Islam and Judaism are comletely similar!
Islam is a violent and imperialistic totalitarian state-ideology, where Judaism is a nonviolent, nonimperialistic tribal-religion.

Im sorry you find me arrogant because it is very far from my attention to be that. To you or anybody else!

    Kind Regards

  21. There has been no Jewish continuity that can last for more than a few centuries without Judaism, so it would appear that Jews cannot exist without Judaism. Just as seemingly Europeans may not be able to exist without Christianity, based on what is happening in Europe at the present.

    Religion helps maintain identity.

The beliefs of Judaism may be archaic nonsense to you, but that is a common attitude toward religions by those who are not members of them. Quite similar attitudes are held by atheists toward most forms of Christianity.

The Catholic Church at one point comprised the main religion of Christianity, and enforced that rather brutally, against other Christians and non-Christians as well, treating them as subhuman, killing them, stealing their children, so on and so forth...

To take a look at the history of the papacy you must admit that Catholicism has been a violent imperialistic state ideology. A state of affairs that only ended with forcible schisms and the unification of Italy.

Again I see no point in dragging out this ancient history, particularly as it is not on topic. We do have a common enemy and debating whose beliefs are inferior, will not aid in that fight.

  23. What has always interested me, and frightened me, is that the time during which "the Moors" were forthrightly and finally "expelled" from Europe, was the period of the reign of Ferdinand and Isabella; a time when there was a strident movement towards re-establishing Orthodoxy to the Church and the land of the Iberian Peninsula.

I agree with Sultan Knish that cultures do not seem to be able to maintain themselves without a religious basis. I believe religions are born out of a people's experience of the life they have lived in a particular land, over a period of time. I believe they are organic myths born of experience with a central environment.

And, I believe that these myths then help people to coalesce into a civilization, to form the hierarchies needed to maintain cohesive culture and government.

I see no reason why Jews and Christians should not be able to get along. But, it is sad to say that history does not bear out my (apparently) Pollyannic thinking. The history of Ferdinand and Isabella, and the Expulsion of the Moors is a lesson to those of us who wonder how Europe might end up defeating Islam (which I believe is inevitable, though It might take many decades).

One of the lessons I take from this history is that Europe seems to self-destruct when it attempts to be egalitarian, sharing it's culture (through trade and the inevitable entanglements that come along with trade), and Europe seems to thrive when it turns inward - maintaining itself through an adherence to its traditional structures, based upon religion (mostly Catholic) - and xenophobic.

The problem I see with this is that it would seem that Xenophobia, and in particular, anti-Semitism, are part and parcel of European identity.

American has, somehow, developed a culture based upon the rule of law, and equality under that law, rather than tradition.

My sense is that "Europe" maintains its strength not so much through law as it does through tradition. Friends of mine who have lived in Europe, or have traveled a lot in Europe speak of "the French way" or "the Swedish way". These phrases seem to refer to a whole unwritten paradigm of etiquette, to which no one born outside the culture could possibly adhere.

Unless you are speaking of beer commercials and football, there really is no such thing as "the American way."

    (to be continued)

    ReplyDelete
  24. (continued)

The European Union project is not a movement towards a type of American culture based upon equality under the law. Instead, it is a bureaucratic movement based upon ensuring, in general, equality of results, and a divvying up of the pie between various nations/factions.

This distinction between America and Europe explains why we have been more successful, in general, in integrating cultures from around the world. In America, it does not matter who you are, what you believe, etc., you are an American as long as you are willing and able to put up with the idea that it is everyone else's right to be who they are and express what they believe.

We draw the line at those who impede on the Freedom of Conscience and Speech.

We do not shy away from telling those who want to limit Conscience and Expression to "fuck off, get out of my face, you ain't the boss of me."

Europeans would tend not to react in such a way, because, it would seem, it is part of "the French way", the "English way," "the Swedish way", to be polite, and allow disagreement to sit until morning, when they believe all things can be worked out.

But, the truth is, NOTHING can be worked out with an ideology as malevolent as the Islam which insists upon its right to the spread of Sharia and Jihad.

Believing that one can co-exist with such an expansionist and anti-human agenda as that of the Sharia/Jihad paradigm is the same thing as believing one can co-exist with Nazism, or with governments run by the Mafia.

It is simply impossible to have true individual equality under the law as long as the Islamic Sharia/Jihad paradigm are tolerated.

The West - America first, and Europe second - will not win until we learn the lesson that ANY preaching of Sharia and Jihad is tantamount to Sedition (in that it does not allow for the Freedom of Conscience/Speech which is the very foundation of our law), and that it is necessary that it be made punishable by life imprisonment, or deportation of the convicted to the Sharia-state of his or her choice.

If Europe makes such a decision, it will amount to a paradigm shift in European culture. If Europe adheres to its traditions, then, I'm afraid, Islam will be expelled the old-fashioned way, and as in the time of Ferdinand and Isabella, the Jews, and all other "non-believers" will be expelled right along with them.
