A Week of Diversity and Terror

On Saturday, Ziyed Ben Belgacem pays a visit to Orly Airport in Paris. He grabs a female soldier from behind and grapples for her rifle while holding a pellet gun to her head. He warns the other soldiers to drop their rifles and raise their hands.

He shouts, "I am here to die in the name of Allah ... There will be deaths."

He’s mostly right. It’s the plural part he gets wrong. The soldier goes low. Her friends shoot him dead. But he’s not entirely wrong either. There will be deaths. Even if they aren’t at Orly Airport.

French Police go on to investigate the motive of the Tunisian Muslim settler. His father insists that he wasn’t a terrorist. The media rushes to blame drugs for his attack. It reports widely on the drugs in his system rather than the Koran found on his body. No one asks if he was on drugs or on Jihad.

Ziyed Ben Belgacem had been in and out of prison. He was known to the authorities as a potential Jihadist and had been investigated for “radicalization” back in 2015. He had been suspected of burglaries last year and had been paroled in the fall. The system had failed all over again.

Prince William and Kate had been in Paris meeting with victims of the Bataclan Islamic terror attack. They returned to the UK, but media reports emphasize that the latest attack wouldn’t change their plans. But the UK was no refuge from Islamic terror. Not even Westminster Palace was.

On Wednesday, Khalid Masood, a Muslim convert, rents a car in a town near Birmingham from an Enterprise rent-a-car shop sandwiched between a Staples and a beauty salon offering walk-in eyebrow waxing. Over a fifth of Birmingham is Muslim and by the time the bloodshed was over and Masood was in the hospital, police raided a flat over a restaurant advertising “A Taste of Persia”.

Because diversity is our strength.

Masood’s victims were certainly diverse. The men and women he ran over or pushed off Westminster Bridge included Brits, Americans, Romanians, Greeks, Chinese, South Koreans, Italians, Irish, Portuguese, Polish and French. That is the new form that diversity takes in the more multicultural cities.

The victims are diverse. The killers are Muslim.

Prime Minister May spoke of it as a place where “people of all nationalities and cultures gather to celebrate what it means to be free.” But not all nationalities and cultures. Some come there to celebrate what it means to kill infidels for the greater glory of Allah. Just as some pray for London and others pray for the flag of Islam to fly over Westminster Palace.

Khalid Masood, like Ziyed Ben Belgacem, had been in and out of prison. Like France’s Tunisian Muslim terror settler, the UK’s Muslim terror convert had been investigated for “violent extremism”.

Nothing came of it.

For thirty years, Masood went in and out of prison. And one fine day he rented a car and began killing. He was on the radar, but nothing was done. And now some are dead and others are wounded. And the politicians who could have prevented it give their speeches and celebrate the magnificent diversity that filled hospitals with the citizens of a dozen nations.

"As I speak, millions will be boarding trains and aeroplanes to travel to London, and to see for themselves the greatest city on Earth,” Prime Minister May declared, throwing in a pitch for tourism. “It is in these actions - millions of acts of normality - that we find the best response to terrorism."

Come to London. Stroll and see the sights. You probably won’t get Allahuakbared to death. And if you do, the best response is a million acts of normality, apathy and denial.

Mayor Sadiq Khan vowed that after a brief vigil, it would be "business as usual".

He was right.

On Thursday, Mohammed, a Tunisian Muslim tries to drive a car through a pedestrian mall on a major shopping street in Antwerp. It was right around the anniversary of the Brussels bombings in which Moroccan Muslim settler terrorists had killed 32 people and wounded 300.

And a year later it was business as usual.

On Wednesday, King Philippe had dedicated a memorial in Brussels titled, ‘Wounded But Still Standing in Front of the Inconceivable’. "We have to stand up and say 'no' to those acts that are not believable, that are not bearable," its sculptor insisted.

But the seventh King of the Belgians had a somewhat different message. “It’s the responsibility of each and every one of us to make our society more humane, and more just. Let’s learn to listen to each other again, to respect each other’s weaknesses,” he said. “Above all, let us dare to be tender.”

The Tunisian Muslim driving into a pedestrian mall did not dare to be “tender”. He didn’t respect the weaknesses of a society that tolerated him.

Belgian soldiers deployed for the anniversary spotted him. The police gave chase. Pedestrians scurried out of the way. The Muslim settler from France was taken into custody for endangering the public. It is hoped that the arrest was made in a properly tender fashion.

Police found a riot gun, knives and fake passports in his car.

The Antwerp police chief said that Mohammed had been known to the police and had been involved in the illegal possession of weapons in France. But official reports blamed the drugs and alcohol in his system. Like fellow Tunisian Ziyed Ben Belgacem, he wasn’t a terrorist, just a drunk and a junkie.

The police urged everyone to keep calm and return to normalcy. Everything was being done to ensure the safety of Antwerp residents and tourists.

Business as usual.

Meanwhile the Antwerp Town Hall had gone from flying British colors in solidarity with the victims of the London attack to worrying over an attack at home. Just as William and Kate had come from terror in France to terror at home.

British authorities claimed that they foiled a dozen terror attacks last year. There are arrests for terror plots in France and Germany. Every week there is either a terror plot or a memorial for the last terror attack before we are told to go on with our million acts of normalcy.

Some days the terrorists screw up. They pick what they think is an easy target, but she refuses to let go of the rifle. Or they overestimate how much alcohol and cocaine they need to nerve themselves up to kill and die. Other times they get it right. Or right enough. And the news flashes around the world.

Somewhere along the way it wasn’t life that became normal, but terror. And the insistence on normalcy just normalizes the terror. A week with three terror attacks across Europe is no longer extraordinary. We have come to expect that there will be men trying to stab and run us over from Paris to Antwerp to London. And we have come to expect another Islamic terror plot targeting Kansas City, Miami, Columbia, New York, San Bernardino, Boston, Tampa, Dallas, Rochester, Springfield and any city.

We don’t know when or where the next attack will come. But we know whom it will come from.

The question is what are we going to do about it? We can pretend to be baffled the next time some Jihadi with a rap sheet taller than the London Eye and longer than London Bridge goes on a killing spree. We can nod our heads while the politicians throw a vigil and encourage a million acts of apathy.

Or we can end the flow of future terrorists and deport the existing ones.

Because they can’t run us over if we don’t let them in. They can’t bomb us if we don’t let them stay.

We can listen to King Philippe and “dare to be tender”. Decades of such tenderness are what led us here. Or we can dare to make the hard choices that will make us and our children safe for generations.

Saturday. Wednesday. Thursday. How many more days will it take?

Oh, one point about "diversity is our strength", really, the opposite seems to be true, historically, diversity seems to lead to disintegration of a nation.

Thank you for your steadfast support of freedom . . .

  7. " or we can end........" Dear Daniel you must be kidding, who in the entire European political landscape would have the Churchllian courage to not only say " Enough" but do something about it with a population consisting mainly of leftwing wimps too affraid to even utter the words Islamic whatever out of fear for being called - phobe. We have passed the point of no return and shall but witness liberty & freedom sliding into the abyss of Islam.

We were once a nation who's strength was our diversity. But that was when we believed in assimilation of immigrants. The left now not only doesn't believe in assimilation but advocates diversity through the premise of indivdual pride in our heritage. Division is their strength with the provision they alone can alleviate this with the progressives promise of providing the things the immigrants left wing home country promised but neglected to provide. But then you yourself Mr. Greenfield said it better than I could in an excellent article you wrote on 6 November 2012 entitled "We Are Those Who Stand For The Day". In it you made comparisons between "Islam being a reactionary ideology preaching a perfect world" and "Progressivism looking for it's utopia not in the splendor of the past but in the wonders of the future." " For Muslims this is a matter of pure culture" ....."For westerners the dislocation is also culture." But I'll let your readers see for themselves with the link below:

One other thought before I close. We Americans have seen a foreign policy over the years that drifted from supporting foreign tyrants that we would have to eventually overthrow to President Bush advocating making more governments in the Middle East look like democracies in his inaugural address. Add to this a President with little knowledge of the situation (assigning his son in law as chief negotiator, and getting his info from "the shows") or the flip flopping and ineptness on the part of the President(Obama)and we are in the predicament we currently face with little hope of improvement.

Your post is so right-on, it's downright scary. No wonder nothing ever changes: just acknowledging the abyss before us is tough enough; doing something to avert it is just too big a task for the multitudes. Perhaps time to make aliyah, after all, and at least throw in our lots with them what knows lots more about jihad terrorism than anyone on this side of the pond.

We must harden our hearts, be prepared to do what must be done.
The sooner Western Civilization re-accepts the 1400+ year old truth that islam is a quasi religion/political agenda of hate & death the sooner we can move on to what must be done periodically. That they must be decimated in a way that leaves them reeling for hundreds of years. Charles Martel, El Cid, Nicholas Count of Salm they all knew that the islamic savagery had to be met with equal savagery. It is only logical that a society/culture (using the words very loosely) that is built on a savage code (sharia) would not understand or respect civilized rules of engagement. So we must steel ourselves to meet the enemy on their own terms. That may well be against all our sensibilities but do you want sensibilities or do you want death or subjugation to the vile tenants of islam for yourself and your progeny?

They (muslims) have been inculcated with absolute hatred for anyone who does not believe exactly as they do for the last 1400+ years..
Islam is islam. The so called radicals do the wet work and the so called moderates cheer them on and/or finance them. When it comes right down to it they all believe that the quran (hadith et al) is the actual word of allah and that it is perfect in every way. They believe that ABSOLUTELY NOTHING in the quran should or can be changed as times change. The quran says to kill the infidels and that is the commandment of allah and any muslim/apostate who believes otherwise is to be killed along with the infidels.

Great post. As an Englishman I am diminished by these terror attacks. My capital city is polluted by them and I cannot freely take my grandchildren to see what was part of my childhood and where I safely wandered. Self preservation and responsibility for the young stops all that.
Candles and holding hands is insulting to me and to any citizen who knows that only by naming the enemy and confronting him with all possible force will safety return to London. Arm the police and profile anybody anytime. Use the army in a show of real force and assert endlessly that our law and our way is the only way we are going to live.

  14. The greatest city on earth?
You mean the city that in the early 1980s began selling its premier properties to Arabs, er Muslims?
The Intercontinental Hotel, London: In 1983 I found, while visiting the once very nice city on earth, that said hotel had been bought up by Arabs — oil wealth, don't ja know.
And I thought to myself then: Why are Arabs putting their camel noses under the West's tent? (Honestly, my radar was not then sufficient to articulate this truth, but I DID FEEL IT IN MY GUT).

Only a far left loon, writhing about in so-called safe spaces, cannot see the fact that the spaces they consider "safe" are in fact the spaces that deem all dissenters as lives not worth living. And maybe these loons agree — as so many did in Nazi Germany.

Thus, we're seeing the advance of so-called hate-speech motions and laws which guarantee that in some near-future date anyone who objects to "virtue-signaling Western genocide" will face the full force of totalitarian termination, either in fact or in heavy-booted measures, from the IRS, an employer, or a kangaroo court: all of which are at the ready to impose the "necessary" corrective.

Our Western Judeo-Christian culture has an Achilles Heel. We are too easily convinced of shameful guilt; the sin and unworthiness of man. Europeans feel shame for Colonization, Americans for Slavery, and Indians. Any modern Western country "should" bear guilt for its economic success, which can only have been "stolen".

We are conditioned to feel and see piety and virtue in contrition and sacrifice. We tend to see this in our leaders. A cynical leader like Obama knows Muslims get their piety by killing us. The perfect union; contrite victim and righteous executioner.

Our true virtue is our representative, secular government, freedom of belief, thought, speech; science and technology. We are not beholden to savages. We owe them only retaliation when they aggress.

Reasonable questions every sensible mustafa should ask:
1- If the male/female ratio is 80/20 in muslim paradise and suicide-by-jihad jihadis already have taken their part, how many female are left (if any)?
2- Is Allah's paradise kind of a male only club? Some sort of gay club?
3- Wouldn't it be better hell with its 80 percent hotties?
4-If the answer is yes, the logic demands being a bad muslim or even better stop being one right away to grant yourself a hell of a party...

  19. It's too late now for a peaceful solution to the Islamic invasion of Western civilisation. Only violence could uproot the strong foot the Muslims have now in Western Europe and Amerika. There are tens of million of them infiltrating any social milieu. Now the West can see what the NGOs have done to their countries, those organisations paid the the Arabs to facilitate the invasion. All the rescued refugees in the Mediterranean are brought ashore by NGOs. Those "saviours" are hand in hand with the smugglers serving them refugees in a cooperative manner. Western Europe has no choice but civil wars. The human rights they cherish are now facilitating the destruction of Western civilisation.

  21. Today, the New York Times printed another article about formerly-religious young Jews that have abandoned Judaism.

The New York Times does not repeatedly print articles about how Muslims are quitting Islam; they only print articles about how Jews are quitting Orthodox Judaism.

Once again, the Jew-hating New York Times has expressed its relentless bias against everything which is authentically Jewish, including Orthodox Judaism, which it has attacked many times before, in addition to its relentless attacks against Israel.

New York Times Erases Israel from Map:

The worst part of their relentless bias against everything which is authentically Jewish, is that millions of stupid ignorant disloyal Liberal Jews continue to buy it 365 days every year, and consider it to be their Tanach [Bible], even more than the actual Tanach.

  22. “There is no such thing as “radical Islam.” I have refused to accept several organizations that seek to combat or expose the antics of “radical” or “extreme” Islam, because I know that it is not extremism that is causing the violence...it’s mainstream, typical, normal, traditional, specified, canonical [based on religious law] Islam.” —Amil Imani (See more below.) [emphasis added]

Quran (8:12) - "I will cast terror into the hearts of those who disbelieve. Therefore strike off their heads and strike off every fingertip of them"

Excerpts From Some of Mohammad's Chroniclers:

Sahih Bukhari (52:177) - Allah's Apostle said, "The Hour will not be established until you fight with the Jews, and the stone behind which a Jew will be hiding will say. "O Muslim! There is a Jew hiding behind me, so kill him."

Sahih Bukhari (11:626) - [Muhammad said:] "I decided to order a man to lead the prayer and then take a flame to burn all those, who had not left their houses for the prayer, burning them alive inside their homes."

But remember always that the Quran allows lies, deceit, cruelty, machinations, and anything else that a Muslim believes will advance Islam. No Muslim is bound to any honor in dealing with the infidels, the unbelievers, the Kafir.

The upshot here is that ALL Muslims – Muslims being anyone who has embraced the religion of Islam – are bound to Sharia, the Code of Law derived from the Quran, the Hadith, and the Sira. It is not for them to question but to obey without question. True, some are more militant than others but the universal truth is that Islam must rule the world by Caliphate; that all will be Muslims; or tax-paying subordinates to Muslims; or dead.

The denial is a symptom, but you don't understand what it is a symptom of.

Everyone knows the cause. We know. The problem is what to do about it. All solutions are incredibly painful. We are like the man with a cancer diagnosis, who is told that without this painful and dangerous operation, he will die. What does the man do? Rush to the hospital? Or does he take that family trip to Disneyland?

Let us be clear what the alternative is - shutting down mosques, restricting free movement of Muslims and Muslim immigration, and death sentences for Jihadists. It will be ugly, brutal, and difficult. Lots of innocent people are going to get swept up with the guilty. Heck, part of Jihad is to hide behind the skirts of women, and behind baby carriages. That is how they operate.

1,400 years ago Islam declared a "civilization jihad;" Islam daily reinforces the lessons.

Distasteful as it is to free peoples, Islam must be put back into its sandbox by force of arms. Islam has forsaken any rights to 'fair treatment' by the West.

It is our task to end the scourge. If we do not, the Worldwide Islamic Caliphate will rule over the greatest collection of cowards, whiners and bedwetters ever begotten.
