Why I Oppose Ron Paul as an American

I'm a Jew and a Zionist and I have seen a bunch of messages from people claiming to be Jews and Zionists and stating that as their reason for supporting Ron Paul. As I've demonstrated in the past week, the Jews for Ron Paul group was a fraud. The Zionists for Ron Paul group is run by a splinter group in Israel which advocates some sort of anti-globalization platform.

I don't oppose Ron Paul as a Jew and a Zionist. I oppose him as an American. I oppose him as someone who feels that we need to make America stronger rather than weaker, that we need an America more capable of fighting terrorism than less capable of fighting it. I have opposed foreign aid to Israel for some time. I feel it does more harm than good. My opposition to Ron Paul has nothing to do with foreign aid, it has to do with opposing the greatest threat of our time, radical Islam.

Ron Paul's candidacy is right up there with Charles Lindbergh urging Americans that we don't need to worry about Nazi Germany or Japan, so long as we embraced isolationism or the USSR's Fellow Travelers proclaiming that the only reason there is conflict in Europe is because of our interference there. Those who cite American foreign policy as the just reason the enemy hates us are knowingly or unknowingly parroting the propaganda of our foes.

What benefits America the most and also benefits England, Israel, India and the rest of the civilized world, is a President willing to confront and combat the enemy. Foreign aid isn't the issue, a united front is. And if Bush has not done nearly enough in that regard, it is still far far better than the alternative, which is a President who retreats from the field entirely, surrenders and even accepts the enemy's justifications.

Ron Paul is not a candidate for President. Ron Paul is a spoiler candidate meant to play Ross Perot a second time. He is not a real Republican, he's a trojan horse with a backing that comes from the far right and the far left and considering his embrace by the media, from one or more of the Democratic candidates.

Whether he knows it or not, Ron Paul is in this race for one reason, to subvert the field of GOP candidates and eventually probably as a third party candidate to split the conservative vote. Ron Paul might as well register as Hillary or Obama's V.P. because that is what he's really for.

If you can take the damage that the eight years of the Clinton Administration did and multiply it by a hundred, that's what Hillary or Obama in power will do. It's not a risk any sane person who cares about America can or should take.

Even discounting the fact that he is a spoiler candidate, Ron Paul's platform on the War on Terror is a joke. He blames America for 9/11 and swallows the Chomskyite arguments, instead of recognizing the inherent threat of Islamic expansionism. He has no plan for dealing with the nuclear threat of Iran and its numerous ties to terrorist groups which hate the West. He has no plan for fighting terrorism, beyond what amounts to a higher reward for Bin Laden.

His plans for the Federal government are a joke. His big appeal as President is a plan to dump all the problems and responsibilities onto State Governors along with the ballooning taxes and turn the Federal government into a hollow shell, because his supporters in a few states think that will somehow give them freedom. All it will give them is the same high taxes, same restrictions and same laws on the State Level, while America loses the ability to defend itself or act coherently against the enemy.

His followers think he can destroy the Federal government. The only thing he can destroy is the chances of a Republican to win the Presidency. There's one way to spell Ron Paul's candidacy, President Hillary Clinton.

How can you explain an article in Arutz Sheva-the only right wing media outlet, by one Shmuel Ben Gad supporting Ron Paul and eliciting good responses from other stupid Jews?

  2. Anonymous18/11/07

I respect your opinions but I don't see Ron Paul as weakening the country at all. This country cannot maintain it's current spending and maintain the so called front. It is also not about money only. That is just one small portion of the whole.

First strike concept as being deployed right now is only feeding the growth of extremists. Their recruiting and abilities are more powerful now than before the Iraq war began. We are doing exactly what the extremist wanted.

The U.S. does not control the world or its beliefs and we cannot with out complete dictatorship. That is not going to be the U.S. roll and in reality it would not be possible.

Spoiler may sound good but Ron Paul plans on staying in the race and I have faith in the American citizen to actually see what is going on, mobilize and make the right choice.

    Time will only tell.

  3. firstly anonymous, Ben Gad's piece was an op ed, rather than the views of A7

secondly I don't know Ben Gad, but he apparently believes that Ron Paul means the end of foreign aid and independence, as I've said previously I doubt this

    ReplyDelete
  4. blogcruiser,

shifting spending from the federal government to the states resolves very little and is likely to only increase spending and pork

first strike means being able to take out threats before they happen, terrorists only gain confidence when they're coddled

ron paul as a third party candidate would mean a Hillary presidency and you know it too

    ReplyDelete
  5. blogcruiser, "extremists" otherwise known as muzlim in it's natural state of depravity, doesn't need an excuse to grow. They're like the plague. Leave it alone and it will only become stronger and more devastating.

Attack it and it will only appear to be growing stronger, at least if CNN and the BBC have any say about it. :]

Yes, Ron Paul is a spoiler or a Ross Perot, but only if you think it's a bad thing. People support him because they like him for what he is. You don't like him, so for that alone, it doesn't matter to you whether he's a serious candidate or a player.

However, I respect your opinion if you think he's bad for our country. I strongly disagree, but I can respect that.

So, please concentrate your criticism on why you don't like him, not his status in the race as if it's his fault most people don't know or don't support him.

  7. It is odd how people think that a President can single handedly run the USA. There are 3 houses of government who pull against one another so that one will not become too powerful. Legislative, Judicial and the Office of the President.
To think that Ron Paul or any candidate can make all the changes some think is not realistic
Each president soon finds that he runs up against a Congress and Supreme court who are not in line with this thinking all the time.
So when I hear, Ron Paul will do this. Ron Paul will do that , its ludicrous.
Presidents can promise you anything, but they need a Congress and a Justice system to back them up.

    ReplyDelete
  8. well josh, only if you think that president hillary clinton is a bad thing

ron paul has not committed to supporting the republican candidate, that officially makes him a spoiler candidate and it's a valid issue

    ReplyDelete
  9. gosh josh, you're really playing the moderate here as opposed to your blog "Ivory Power"

"Sorry, but you can’t say radical Islam (or Islamofascism) and say you’re American. It was a phrase invented by Islamophobic Zionist Jews. Not by Europeans or Americans."

Yeah, you're a great ad for what the Ron Paul crowd really believes.

    ReplyDelete
  10. and no the evil jews didn't invent the term "islamofascism"

Albert Scardino attributes the term to an article by Muslim scholar Khalid Duran in the Washington Times, where he used it to describe the push by some Islamist clerics to "impose religious orthodoxy on the state and the citizenry".[4]

    ReplyDelete
  11. Anonymous19/11/07

Are you generalizing me as representative of Ron Paul supporters? That's not nice.

Also, Islamofascism was popularized (if not invented) by Michael Savage. But by the quote "impose religious orthodoxy on the state and the citizenry", could you not say the same for Zionist Jews and neoconservative evangelicals? It's interesting how people like you point this out as if you're either liberal, secular or pro-individualist.

Why should Ron Paul support any candidate of any party if he disagrees with them so greatly? That's the only reason he'd run, isn't it? He's still consistent with his ideals that fits conservative and Reagan tradition.

Yes, him being a spoiler candidate is a valid issue, but it didn't start there, it started where Americans and politicians are losing track and losing options, it's time to bring awareness to it.

Yes I belive Hillary as President is a bad thing, just no worse than Giuliani, Thompson, McCain or Romney.

I'm not playing moderate, I say what I believe regardless of where I am.

    ReplyDelete
  12. Anonymous19/11/07

So if one person invents a term such as islamofascist, then all that person's culture or race are also included . That could work to great advantage for all of us who might share heritage with some guy who invents some billion dollar invention!!

Also:100% American for many generations and I will say "Islamofascist!!"

    ReplyDelete
  13. it would be a generalization if most ron paul supporters didn't spew exactly the sort of crap you do

islamofascism was popularized by a wide variety of people who are against terrorism, including President Bush (maybe he isn't an American either, according to you?)

"But by the quote "impose religious orthodoxy on the state and the citizenry", could you not say the same for Zionist Jews and neoconservative evangelicals?"

Remind me when one of those evil jews or evangelicals beheaded people using the power of the law in the U.S.

"Why should Ron Paul support any candidate of any party if he disagrees with them so greatly? That's the only reason he'd run, isn't it?"

Then he has no place running as a Republican, if he can't support his party's candidate. He needs to run as a libertarian or aryan national or as any party which he can feel comfortable supporting.

  14. Anonymous19/11/07

Our system does not allow 3rd party to compete, and even if it did, to you and most Americans, it's a spoiler anyway, so Ron Paul is just Ron Paul and he'll do what he can and what is necessary regardless of whether he has a place in his party. He is doing nothing illegal or wrong, its NOT HIS FAULT he has enough support to spoil an election.

Yes, you are American and so is Bush, BUT, you are not opposing Ron Paul or Islamofascism based on American, traditional, secular, humanist philosophy, but Zionist Jewish centric bigotry. Islamofascists don't hate Asia, they don't hate Africa, and they don't hate South America, who are equally non-Muslim and worse in any religious devotion. They hate Americans for supporting Israel.

What Jews do to Palestinians, what Americans do in Abu Graib and Gitmo is no better than beheading people. In fact worse! When they behead people, they do it in their own country, we in turn go to their country and harm THEM!

And you're not against terrorism, you're against terrorism that harms people you care about. I'm for terrorism, violence and murder as long as it hurts the people I don't like, and at least I admit it. I challenge you to say you're against Israeli tanks and American occupation in Iraq that's harming innocent civilians uninvolved in the conflict, trapped in the crossfire.

ADMIT IT, you're not against violence, you're against violence you don't like. That's why you're pro-war, pro-Bush and pro-Republican, because they kill people you don't like.

    ReplyDelete
  15. Josh,

"Our system does not allow 3rd party to compete,"

You people keep claiming that Ron Paul can win the GOP primaries and a national election, then why can't he win as a third party candidate? If anything the latter should be easier since he appeals mainly to non-mainstream party voters and has not ruled out running as a 3rd party candidate.

"BUT, you are not opposing Ron Paul or Islamofascism based on American, traditional, secular, humanist philosophy, but Zionist Jewish centric bigotry."

Have you even read my post?

"Islamofascists don't hate Asia, they don't hate Africa, and they don't hate South America, who are equally non-Muslim and worse in any religious devotion."

Tell that to Thailand or the people of Sudan or the Philippines. Oh yeah they're car bombing in China too and killing Christians in Nigeria. Maybe you should follow the news about what's really going on in the world instead of ranting about the Zionists.

Oh yeah, none of the above have anything to do with Israel.

"What Jews do to Palestinians, what Americans do in Abu Graib and Gitmo is no better than beheading people. In fact worse!"

So if I have it right, you'd rather be beheaded than in an American jail or under Israeli rule. Well to each their own.

I fully expect that someone who thinks that having deliveries of Harry Potter novels and an Islamic prayer room is worse than being beheaded... support Ron Paul. Irrationally seems to be a prime mover with your crowd.

"When they behead people, they do it in their own country, we in turn go to their country and harm THEM!"

So was 9/11 in their own country too? What about Hizbullah's Parisian bombings?

And mean this is what happens when they come to your country.

    http://fjordman.blogspot.com/2005/10/pakistan-16-muslims-reportedly-rape.html

But I'd bet Gitmo is worse than this.

"I challenge you to say you're against Israeli tanks and American occupation in Iraq that's harming innocent civilians uninvolved in the conflict, trapped in the crossfire."

Last time I checked the American tanks are there defending the innocent civilians from the likes of Al Queda and Sadr, but it's nice to get a view of how much you hate America. You've even absorbed the left's language of military bashing, funny thing for a "conservative." Hilarious for a guy who accuses others of not really being Americans.

"ADMIT IT, you're not against violence, you're against violence you don't like. That's why you're pro-war, pro-Bush and pro-Republican, because they kill people you don't like."

Has nothing to do with who I like or don't like, son. Has to do with who's coming to kill us. And by us I mean Republicans and Democrats, Jews, Christians, Mormons and even Ron Paul supporters. (Unless you'd rather just be beheaded and get it over with?)

    ReplyDelete
  16. Anonymous19/11/07

    1. 3rd party candidates don't get into debates, Ron Paul knows that himself, however that has changed. We don't claim he will win, nor do we accept he won't, we do our part, and it's not our fault if we have the power to spoil an election.

    2. And yes, it IS generalization because most RP people DON'T agree with me on many things, but we get along because we have much more similarity than difference.

    3. Yes I have read your post
    4. Violence in Asia is nothing to do with their religion and certainly not with their freedom but according to your standard then, should we liberate these countries the same way we did to Iraq?
    5. I'd be safe and alive than dead, duh. But who do I blame for killing me if I go to a country unwelcomed? And of course I'd rather be killed in my country than anywhere else. What kind of stupid question is that?
    6. No act is worse than murder, that's why I don't support pre-emptive wars. So what makes you think somebody in our crowd would think being beheaded is better than anything?
    7. You don't want my take on 9/11, but if you've not heard it all here it is : 9/11 was not done by Islamofascists, and if it was it was motivated by our presence in the middle east, and if it was, we allowed it.
    8. You'd rather cry over a raped girl than hundreds upon thousands killed by our troops authorized by our government. Yes, Gitmo is not worse, tell yourself that.
    9. We have had no attacks since 9/11 , if you credit that to GWB, we can logically credit Clinton for 8 years of safety and blame GWB for 9/11. My hatred for our presence in other countries goes the same regardless what they do.

We have no business in other countries that haven't involved us. How many innocent people dead in Iraq would it take to change your mind about our tanks? If my assumption of evil military of Israel and US, would you condemn ANY act of that sort? Or do you need to break some eggs to make an omelet?

I'd rather run the risk of being beheaded than fight an endless war involving others dead. Can you behead me when I have my gun in my hand? Yes, it's a conservative talking, leftists won't let me keep my arms.

I don't need people like you talking like you care about my life and freedom, because you're afraid of people coming to kill us thus would support wars in other countries even if it means it wasn't by legal or due process.

I will not give up freedom for security, because only freedom can give me security. Surely my guns can't prevent a nuclear bomb, but no proof my government attacking another country can either.

You can cite me every country with terrorists problems, then you have to answer why you are not involved in every single country's affairs.

I can say I am only interested in people here, in my country, and let all the rest of the world DIE. But I will not allow people of my country, at my expense cause harm to anybody whatsoever, and if they do, don't ask for my appreciation, because by then, they have lowered themselves to the animals of terrorists.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Anonymous19/11/07

By the way, if by your understanding, Islamofascists hate people and hurt people not because of their relations with Jews, but by their religion and their behavior, wouldn't you rather give up your religious freedom than hurt people physically? I would IF I believed that, but I don't. You seem to rather kill or be killed, if this is how you think, you're an animal no better than criminals who hurt people for no reason. Criminal behavior is all the same regardless of motivation and intent.

How do you say most terrorists are Muslims without saying most Muslims are terrorists? How would you like it if somebody said what was done at Abu Graib represents you as an American or what Israel has done to Palestine represents all Jews (oh wait, in your view, you're already blamed for that, nevermind!) I only point out the motivation of 9/11 assuming it was true to show that we are not completely innocent in my view. We may not be directly murderers, but we are not completely innocent. This doesn't make their murders justified, but we must not conclude it was done by religious or completely irrational intent.

We harm them in their country?
They come to others to do harm.
Let us see: Spain, the train, WTC NYC, Burning the cars in France, Sudan, Philippines, My God man are you asleep?
These weirdos come any where in the world to bomb people who will not bow to their god.
Remember all those Australians they murdered?
Since the middle ages they were kidnapping as far north as Ireland and down into Africa.
They still raid for slaves in Africa.
They are behind some of the butchery in South America.

Ron Paulites are bleeding heart liberals under a cloak of conservatism which is really just self loathing. They hate Jews, They hate America, they hate blacks, Asians and anything to do with normalcy.
I suspect they are really pervertedly evil people.

  20. Oh Josh,

you blame the government for 9/11 and Pearl Harbor, rant on about the Jews and bash American soldiers as killers

even if I had just met you I'd right away know what candidate you support, Ron Paul

Thank you for making my point for me

    1. 3rd party candidates don't get into debates? Funny, Ross Perot got in so did his VP. See third party candidates get in if they poll well enough, in real life, not on Digg.

    4. Violence in Asia and Africa is part of Islam's expansionism around the globe. So much for your, "they only hate us' nonsense.

    7. Oh I've heard this one before, Muslims weren't responsible for 9/11, America was, and even if they were, it's still America's fault.

And you're the one claiming to be the real conservative here? Can I get a snort from the audience.

    8. Gitmo is better than most jails around the world. It's certainly better than jails in the Muslim world.

    9. We have had attempted attacks, just not successful ones. But I'm sure with Ron Pa... Hillary Clinton in power things will go just great because we didn't have any attacks under Bill Clinton, except for that pesky bombing of the World Trade Center.

"I can say I am only interested in people here, in my country, and let all the rest of the world DIE. But I will not allow people of my country, at my expense cause harm to anybody whatsoever, and if they do, don't ask for my appreciation, because by then, they have lowered themselves to the animals of terrorists."

Remember folks, Ron Paul supporters love the troops.

Guys : I am Asian, so I must hate Asians, thanks! Enough with labels, you can call me bleeding heart liberal or anti-Semitic, you can't call me a liar, anti-American for loving the Constituion and you can't call me communist. So go ahead and keep the name calling up, it really helps the debate.

"Let us see: Spain, the train, Burning the cars in France, Sudan, Philippines, My God man are you asleep?"

Are you aware all of these happened AFTER 9/11 AND AFTER we invaded Iraq? What proof do you have it was Muslims who did it anyway?

    ReplyDelete
  22. Josh, you're not just a liar, you're a bigot and an idiot. You don't love the constitution because the constitution is just a piece of paper without America. And you hate America.

France opposed our invasion of Iraq. Islamic terrorism and genocide had been going on in Thailand and the Philippines long before 9/11.

What proof do we have? Would you like photos, statements by the terrorists or maybe you can just go there and see who blows you up.

I see this one who says he will give up free speech. Yet he also says he is for the constitution.
These followers will say whatever they need to say to bring in the converts to this sickness. To them it is like a religion to hate America and to call the 9 11 tragedy a inside job. Sick!
They lie they ar Jews, they aer Christian, they are White, Black, Asian, it is all lies from them.
Please, if America did not fight for my people I would not be alive today.

Son, I lived through the 1950's something I doubt you can say, and I have seen the way Communists infiltrate into the most minor of organizations in order to take over and redirect it to their own cause, and to further the dismantling of the USA.
Don't pull that 9 11 crap on a good old boy like me, I have been around too long for that son.
